Silk Avia's first aircraft undergoes technical acceptance The first ATR72-600 aircraft for Silk Avia is being handed over these days in Bangkok, Thailand. It is one of three aircraft (2019) being acquired by the carrier under an agreement with Jetcraft Commercial Limited. The Silk Avia team inspected the technical condition of the aircraft, its documentation and performed the first test flight. Also, the technical acceptance of the aircraft has now been completed with the signing of a technical inspection report after a one-month C-check (a form of maintenance performed every 5 000 hours of flight time). At the moment another important document, the export certificate, which is necessary for the export of the aircraft to Tashkent, is being prepared.

Concurrently with the approval process, painting work will be done in the Silk Avia livery. After that the aircraft will be flown to its home base, the Tashkent airport, where it will also have to obtain the operator's certificate. At the same time, the second aircraft, purchased by Uzbekistan's first regional airline, has already been delivered for C-check.
